How to Use Ultra Vivid Dual Spectrum CFL Lamps:
Hang your lamp as you see best to suit your grow space.
Important:
Screw Lamp in by holding the bottom plastic, Handling the glass can result in the product being damaged.
If you do touch the glass then your lamp instantly looses a percentage of its lifespan, anything you are carrying on your hands can be spread on to the bulb and this can cause hotter spots on one side of the bulb or vice versa, so we ensure we do not touch the glass of the lamps.
Screw Lamp into The lamp needs to be screwed into the lamp holder firmly and securely without over tightening. If it is not screwed in properly then electrical arcing can occur between the centre contact of the lamp and the lamp-holder. This melts the solder contact on the bottom of the lamp, causing irreparable damage and making it unusable. Make sure that the lamp is clean and completely free of fingerprints, and other contaminants. Finally, make sure that your reflector is hung at the correct height.
